Live music on stage! Our April Memento improvisational theater performance offers a special experience: D\u00e1niel Sz\u0151ll\u0151si makes his debut as a musician on the stage of Itt \u00e9s Most. We are very happy to have found him - get to know our newest co-creator in our flash interview. Veronika Dani B\u00e1n-Horv\u00e1th asked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHV: How long have you been playing music and what instrument do you play?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SZD: I got my first musical instrument when I was 6 years old, a mini synthesizer. My father loved to whistle, and I started playing the tunes after hearing them. At that time, luckily for me, with the support of my parents, I could start deepening my musical knowledge. When I was 15, I wanted to be a pianist, so that became my main instrument, but I also really like singing, playing the guitar, playing the drums and composing music.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHV: Before meeting Itt \u00e9s Most, in what situations did you improvise as a musician?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SZD: I've been improvising since I was a child, even then I was trying to make my own way on the keyboard. In high school we had a blues-rock band, where we had basic themes, but I mainly liked to improvise solos. Later, during my studies and work as a bar pianist, I improvised for the songs, there were smaller performances that I was invited to. My most recent experiences are jamming and concerts with a didgeridoo artist and smaller and larger world music formations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHV: How did Itt \u00e9s Most T\u00e1rsulat come to your attention?<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SZD: A musician friend of mine very kindly recommended Memento. for the impromptu musical accompaniment of a performance. He knew that I dealt with similar things a lot and that I really liked doing it. My imagination kicked in from the first minute and I couldn't wait to start realizing my ideas together with the actors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHV: You have been training with the troupe for a few weeks now, and you have seen several performances since February. What were your first impressions?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SZD: My very first experience was L\u00c1(j)V SZTORI. I had never seen an improvisational theater performance before and for a long time I did not want to believe that what I was watching was not pre-written and rehearsed, it was a very professional and cathartic experience. I really like the trainings, they cheer me up, turn me off, unlock me. There could be more of them because it's great to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHV: As an improvisational theater musician, what is the biggest challenge for you?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SZD: You have to pay attention to a lot of things at the same time. When I create a theme for a character or mood, I, like the actors, like to bring it back and vary it. The individual moments of the players, the lights, the scenes, the storylines all inspire new ideas and it's easy to get lost in them. The key is to stay in the present, which is not easy at this time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHV: What gives you the greatest joy? What was your favorite drinking moment or experience so far?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SZD: To enter and stay in the present in the deepest and most real way possible, and to work together and create as a unit, paying attention to each other, putting your heart and soul into it: for me, this is the highest level of art. This is what I enjoy the most. I have so many fond memories it's hard to choose. If I had to single out one, it was when we first started creating a scene together. We created a new world that did not exist before and we all carry this joint work with us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BHV: To whom do you recommend the Memento performance?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SZD: Memento is an exciting form. The chronology of the story weaving is very tricky, so if someone wants to see a really bravura game based only on moods and movie genres, I definitely recommend it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
