5×5#szabadaPad

We asked 5 authors to write 5 mini-performances for 5 theaters. Their common theme was the famous Ferencváros bench, but at the same time the individual scenes were given their own titles:

Zoltán Egressy: The Immortal (Basement Theater)

Péter Fábián: Waiting for Spring (Colon)

Csaba Formanek: The taste of flypaper (Here and Now)

Szabó Imola Julianna: Pük-pük-pük (MáSzínház)

Ágnes Réka Tóth: Saint Margaret's Nose (Studio K)

During the three days of the festival, a colorful all-arts program awaits the visitors, in addition to the own performances of the organizing theaters with guest performers, fine arts, literary and musical events. With workshops and art sessions, we encourage visitors to be open, dialogue and creative.

We look forward to seeing you!

Who fills the RUSZT?

In improvisation, we develop and utilize basic values such as listening to each other, acceptance, and openness.

At our improvisation evenings, we build on the ideas of the audience. We take the stage in any form, in-depth workshops and internal training support our game

COLON theater and spiritual agency

The Új Alkotóműhely group was founded in 2010 by the joint decision of young visual artists at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts. The group investigated and is investigating the relationship between those who practice the arts and other communities in society, and researches the relationship between performing and visual arts and society.

Confident and independent communities and individuals capable of making creative decisions can successfully and insightfully participate in the shaping of society, so that over time the problems of the present and the future can be successfully addressed together.

Exact locations: Kispont Gallery (Ráday u. 9. fszt. 2), Kettőspont Theater (Ráday u. 39. fszt. 1.).

Other Theatre

The members of the MáSzínház troupe are intellectually disabled young adults, volunteer helpers and theater professionals. In our joint work, the educational process preceding it is equally important as the presentation. Our drama games are aimed at building people, their task is to shape personality, make contact, maintain contact, and facilitate communication.

The word drama means: to do, to act. It follows from its meaning that it demands active participation and action from all players. The participants turn from passive observers into active, shaping and changing players who become able to communicate to society with their own way of self-expression, which is worthwhile and even important to know about them.

The basis of the pedagogical and artistic work that has been going on at MáSzínház since 2005 is that we do not consider our intellectually disabled members to be pitiful creatures. Rather, we treat them as individuals with their own talents and personalities – just like us medically healthy people.

Studio K Theatre

The name Studio K refers to constant change and change, continuous training, creativity, a critical workshop that experiments in the community, builds relationships, relentlessly searches for special conflicts, and curiously researches.

The great generation of Studio K toured the world with its performances, its activities are now teaching material, the oeuvre of its creators is significant, they themselves created theaters and schools. Many of the actors of the second and third generation are defining personalities of contemporary culture.

Basement theater

Pinceszínház considers it an important objective to make young people familiar with and fall in love with theater and to encourage and inspire them to dare to ask questions, raise problems and think. In addition to existing artists, Pinceszínház also provides opportunities for young, beginning artists to gain practice and present themselves to the general public, and continues to participate in the theater education of students with classroom performances and drama pedagogy sessions.

VerShaker

A poem is like a good cocktail. Shaken, not stirred. One component is the text of the poem, another is the personality of the reader, the third is the surrounding world in which he is reading, the fourth is the mood in which he finds himself, the fifth is the problem that worries him, the sixth is his love, whether he loves or has just thrown it away, the seventh is his pulse, breathing, his mental hygiene, eighth is the figure of the poet who wrote the poem, if the reader knows about it at all, and the very language in which he wrote the poem, ninth is some sleepy literature lessons, tenth is a memory of another poem with a similar message, and many, many other sweet , bitter, astringent, salty or sour ingredient. Shaken, not stirred. Not the text of the poem, not the poet, not the reader, something completely different: a new state of matter, a new color, a new smell, a new taste and a new effect. Always here and always now.
