Why is it good to go to the Morning Fun?
First, because it's morning. 🙂 Basically, we were thinking of those who have free time during the day and work in the evening, or who cannot go to improvisation training because of family. They also need a program that moves and recharges them. Playing in the morning energizes you - you arrive fresh and continue your day even fresher. Improvising is a joy. And if you start your morning with an invigorating, fun game, your whole day will change, you will find more joy in it.
Some people come to us as freelance language teachers - not only because they like to play, but also because they practice skills that help them in their work and learn games that they can use in their teaching. There are those who come with their family for one occasion - so they too have the opportunity to be in the community and spend their me time happily. And there are those whose lives have changed in the meantime, they can't take on the morning games, but they fell in love with improvisation and free play so much that they didn't want to give it up, so they joined an evening group. Surely, those who feel how much flirting gives, often don't even want to stop.
Why do you also indulge in Here and Now every morning?
With us, you have the opportunity to play freely, trying it yourself, as an adult, among adults. Because you can learn the basic principles of impro in an accepting environment, with peers who also like to play. Because we like to laugh and to brighten up our day and ourselves.
If you prefer to hear it from someone else, this is how our participants told us about the Morning Fun improvisation training:
"Being in the moment, forgetting the outside world. That's what morning fun means to me. Thanks to the games, I somehow turn off my constantly buzzing brain, my compulsion to conform, and turn on my carefree, playful part, and I forget the outside world, my problems and things to do for three hours. I don't need any preparation, somehow the games bring out thoughts and ideas from me that I don't expect. A cool and accepting atmosphere develops, where there really isn't a bad decision or a bad scene, and it's not a tragedy if I feel that something didn't work out the way I planned. I learn a lot about myself, about playing together with a partner and about paying attention to each other, which then seeps into my everyday life. And I'm also learning a lot about impro, which is a wonderfully cool technique for increasing courage.”
"Morning fun game gave me unclouded childish joy and play, self-forgetful play, and the experience of states of consciousness and moods that I have rarely experienced anyway, especially so intensely and rapidly changing, in a safe environment."
"Why do I like to improvise?
At first, I was skeptical when a friend invited me to the group to see if it would work for me, I would definitely be better at traditional acting, when you have to play a specific, predictable role. I fell in love with improv because…
- it disconnects me from my thoughts and everyday problems
- creative, develops spontaneity, reactions, attention to others, which can also be used in real-life situations
- develops vocabulary
- as a language teacher, I can also draw inspiration from a game in my work
- the company is good, you can e.g. to get to know other sole proprietors and like-minded people"
"I like walking so much that I would prescribe it for everyone or give it as a gift. Perfect relaxation. When I'm there, it really happens in the "here and now", it's such an enjoyable, whirlwind, filling joy game, you can turn everything off in the meantime. It is also excellent for self-knowledge. You can put away your learned and practiced roles and be a fun kid again, play a hysterical boss, anything you can think of, and you can even have a good laugh about it."
